The Fairway Network’s Sunday morning league has become a favorite among many with its beautiful course, bi-monthly schedule, great player camaraderie and fun games.  The Eaglewood course was originally built in 1928 and just completed a $1.5 Million course renovation in 2007.

The par-72, 6,017-yard course boasts 100-year-old oak trees, three beautiful lakes and dramatically sloping greens that will challenge golfers of all skill levels. The course has contoured fairways and smooth bent grass greens. There are over 69 challenging bunkers offering several elevation changes from tee to green. Water comes into play in 8 of 18 holes.

The resort golf course has a beautiful women’s locker room, a nice pro shop and large putting green. After golf, fairway members often stay and enjoy drinks or lunch at the outside terrace café. The course is conveniently located off the I-355 in Itasca IL. League fee includes green fees, golf cart and weekly prizes.

This par 72, 6017 yard course is recommended for intermediate and advanced skill levels.

Frank Govern Memorial Golf Course formerly Peter Jans was the birthplace of the Fairway Network. When over 60 other golf courses refused to accept women tee times on Saturday mornings, Peter Jans and Terry Govern stepped up. It was the first league for the Fairway Network.

Frank Govern is a great little golf course that is wonderful for beginners and yet a challenge to the more skilled player. It is located in Evanston, just a short trip from downtown. There is an "EL" stop right there as well. That is "Central" ont the Howard Line.

The league fees includes continental breakfast (great coffee, bagels, krispy kreme, etc.), games, prizes and fun. We are also offering a FREE short game clinic and swing analysis on two separate Saturdays. There is no charge for the wildlife sitings of deer, fox etc.

Play 18 holes in around 3 hours on a beautiful Saturday morning It is easily walkable or carts are available.

After a round, relax, socialize on the great patio, which has been the site of many memorable Fairway Network parties.. Share a libation available from the on-site American Legion. We will be having BBQs!

Please join us and keep the Fairway Network tradition going at Frank Govern.

Course Manager Tyrone Banks ~ Billy Casper Golf Management

Jackson Park remains one of the most popular leagues. They are known for their camaraderie and have a lot of fun networking at their infamous 19th Hole. The 10 play date format is very popular because it allows members to enjoy other events during the off weeks.

Billy Casper Golf Management promises great things this year, in addition to riding carts they will also have women’s golf attire and equipment in the redesigned club house.

Jackson Park is the pride of the Chicago Park District. Mature hardwood trees protect the rye grass fairways and bent grass greens putting emphasis on accurate shots. Back to back par 5’s reaching over 500 yards each and challenging par 3’s requires golfers to utilize every club in the bag. We look forward to another year of great league experience.
